This page exists so that the Go toolchain can resolve the module path innsegl.dev/innsegl. The code is hosted at github.com/Raymalian/innsegl; the path above is the name the module is imported by, and it is served from a domain the project controls so the name cannot be taken over by whoever happens to own a code-hosting account later.

Resolution

go get requests https://innsegl.dev/innsegl?go-get=1 and reads a single meta tag out of the response:

That tag is in the head of this document. Every path under the module root — innsegl.dev/innsegl/cmd/innsegl and the rest — is answered by this same page, so a subpackage resolves in one request rather than walking the toolchain up the path a 404 at a time.
